Scott is a licensed architect, a LEED accredited professional and a Principal in the firm. He is a member of The American Institute of Architects with over 24 years experience in architecture and interior design.  He has extensive experience in design and oversees all aspects of design in the firm.  His design expertise includes experience in office buildings, law firms, call centers, technical facilities, telecommunications companies, public lobbies, retail and restaurant design, corporate facilities, church and educational facilities as well as graphic design.

Scott has participated in the design of millions of square feet for clients such as INVESCO Funds, Sprint, Baker & Hostetler, Kutak Rock, Marsico Capital Management and Steelcase.  Scott's creativity in design and ability to challenge the staff to think beyond the initial ideas produces thoughtful, responsive design solutions that greatly benefit our clients and provides them with vibrant spaces that enhance productivity and morale and reduce real estate costs.  These design qualities lead to strong client relationships and trust in our ability to respond to our client’s goals and expectations.

Prior to joining Acquilano Leslie Incorporated, Scott worked for 10 years with Gensler where he worked on a wide variety of base building and interior architectural projects.  His clients there included General Motors, Wachovia Bank, Vencor, The Associated Group/Blue Cross Blue Shield and Columbia Health Care.

Scott received a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from the University of Colorado in 1985.  Scott has a broad range of project responsibilities in addition to his design focus including programming, rendering, construction drawing review and project management.  He manages national design services for Sprint where we have completed projects in fifteen states.  Many of these projects focused on call centers and technical facilities that included Network Operations Centers, large data facilities, switch facilities and executive offices for the President and Chairman in the corporate headquarters campus in Reston, Virginia.
