NATIONAL ASSIGNMENTS:
We have enjoyed a 12 year strategic partnership with Sprint for whom we have completed work in 16 states.  Notable assignments include the Executive Offices for the Chairman in Reston, VA, an Executive Briefing Center on the Avenue of the Americas in Midtown Manhattan and the strategic analysis and planning of Sprint’s 250,000 sf Atlanta Metro facilities.
 
STRATEGIC PLANNING ASSIGNMENTS:
Cabela’s, the national sporting goods retailer, selected us to evaluate their long term real estate needs for the headquarters facilities in Sydney Nebraska.
The work encompasses 380,000 sf of facilities for their existing staff of 1200 as well as expected growth to 2000 employees.
 
We continue to work with CoBiz Financial for whom we have evaluated the comprehensive real estate requirements for their entire family of companies (120,000 sf).
 
We evaluated Sprint’s entire Atlanta Metro area real estate requirements (250,000 sf) and assisting them in their strategic planning for real estate needs in this market.
 
LAW FIRM PLANNING:
We continue our long relationship with Sherman and Howard as we assist them in evaluating real estate options for their 120,000 sf Denver office, and we are currently planning their new offices in Phoenix.
 
Townsend recently occupied their new 45,000 sf offices at 1400 Wewatta and Polsinelli Shughart also recently occupied their new, 40,000 sf LEED Certified offices at 1515 Wynkoop.  Both are in Denver’s historic LoDo District.
 
We completed a major renovation of the 60,000 sf offices for Baker and Hostetler. Extensive upgrades to the public areas including a mock trial room were required.
 
We also completed expansion and renovation of the 20,000 sf offices for Sheridan Ross which was designed to reflect the cutting edge nature of their patent law practice while still referencing the stability and history of this well known Denver law firm.
 
The renovation of Robinson Waters & O’Dorisio is nearing completion.
 
We have been selected by Perkins and Coie to evaluate their real estate options and design their new offices.
 
We are also currently working with Jones and Keller for their relocation and with Berenbaum and Weinsheink as they consider their requirements.
 
OTHER CORPORATE ASSIGNMENTS:
We are working with Open Range Communications to help them develop a new headquarters and data center facility.  This exciting new company is developing internet communications for rural America.  This is repeat business for us as we have worked previously with the company’s CEO.
 
We are nearing completion of the new, 49,000sf headquarters for Black Hills Energy at the 1515 Wynkoop Building in LoDo.
 
We were selected by BAXA to design their new 57,000 sf headquarters, lab and data center facility at the Maroon 5 Building in the Meridian Business Park.  The work will include renovation of their existing facility for the production group once the HQ and lab relocates. We continue to work more in the active, front range Pharma/Bio Med sector with recent projects for Pharmion, Thomson-Reuters, Cochlear Americas,  and Clovis Oncology.
 
We have been selected by Cloud Peak Energy for their new headquarters.  Cloud Peak is the former Rio Tinto Minerals coal mining operations and is undergoing an IPO for the new entity.
 
We continue to work on the new offices for Frederick Ross Company and Westfield Development who will relocate to the 1800 Larimer Building.  The project is expected to achieve LEED certification.  In addition, we are designing the conference center for the building where the building tenants including Xcel Energy will conduct major meetings.
 
We have enjoyed a long relationship with MarkWest Energy from inception of their headquarters relocation to Denver’s CBD to continued expansions.  We are working on our 4th assignment for this 80,000sf client.
 
We are working with the investment banking firm of Green, Manning and Bunch for the relocation of their offices to Denver’s LoDo district.
 
We are working again with Service Magic on the 20,000sf expansion of their existing 80,000sf headquarters and customer service center.  The project includes rework of their existing facility to address their continued growth and evolving requirements.
 
We are working with Roche Constructors on the LEED certified design and renovation of their offices in Greeley.
 
The 40,000sf renovation of Whole Foods regional headquarters is nearing completion in Boulder.  The project required significant interior and exterior renovation of the 80,000sf building to promote multi-tenant leasing.
 
We continue to work with Lionstone Development on the 2 former Gates Office buildings at I-25 and Broadway (300,000 sf).  Included are renovations to all public areas including building lobbies and restrooms, a new elevator, major MEP infrastructure upgrades, a new exterior plaza (and parking) and new building entries. The repositioning of this asset has led to success in the leasing and the previously empty buildings are now almost fully leased!
 
We continue to work with Crescent Real Estate Equities and Glenborough Properties on their Colorado buildings portfolio.
 
Recently Completed Assignments:
IQ Navigator recently occupied their new 40,000sf headquarters giving this growing, dynamic software development company a new image and more collaborative work environment.
 
Douglass/Colony Group recently occupied their new headquarters and warehouse/manufacturing facility in Commerce City.  The project entailed a major renovation to an old office/warehouse facility and LEED certification is pending.
 
George K Baum has occupied their new 25,000 sf office facility at 1400 Wewatta which includes a trading room. The design provides a fresh image for one of Denver’s best know investment banking companies.
 
ForeRunner Corporation has occupied their new, 50,000 sf headquarters office.  The company, which supports the oil and gas industry, is experiencing extensive growth.
 
We recently completed a significant lobby renovation for the Manville Plaza Building.  The project includes a new entry canopy and exterior signage, new lighting, flooring, a featured millwork core wall and metal treatments as well as a new security desk, storefront and elevator cab renovations.
 
We were hired by Callahan Partners to evaluate the Tabor Two floor plate and building core design during the design development phase of this major high rise building.  Our work led to significant changes in the core design which will be implemented to improve the efficiency of the plan from the Tenant’s perspective.
 
Collect America has occupied their 60,000 sf headquarters and customer service center.  The project included a large data center in addition to the office space requirements.
 
Public Sector Assignments:
We are working for the Evergreen Parks and Recreational District on the renovation of the south Evergreen Rec Center.
 
We completed the renovation of the US Fish and Wildlife’s Denver regional headquarters including the specification and acquisition of new furniture throughout. We are certified as a SBA contractor for Federal Government work.
 
We also completed CDOT’s $12,000,000 expansion and renovation (Colorado Department of Transportation) in 2006.  The work occurred at 4 different sites and comprised the relocation of the Traffic Operations Center, the relocation of their Materials Testing Labs, extensive engineering offices (new and remodeled), a building addition at the HQ building and a conversion of the old testing labs to office space.  The work was done under a design/build delivery method with Centerre Construction.
 
COMMUNITY:
Habitat For Humanity: We volunteered over 200 man hours to help Habitat
with painting and finish carpentry to complete a home for a needy family.
 
 
Food Bank of the Rockies: Ashley Miles spearheaded a food drive
and collected approximately 1200 pounds of food!
 
 
Boys and Girls Clubs: We have volunteered several holiday seasons at the
We Care event sponsored by Herman Miller and Workplace Resource.
The event is an after school program for kids. 
 
 
DU Real Estate Event: Owen participated as an industry expert
in a panel discussion regarding sustainability in the front range.
